Rudi Fronk is the co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Seabridge Gold, a role he has held since 1999. With over 30 years in the gold business, his career blends technical and financial expertise. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering and a Master of Science in Mineral Economics from Columbia University.
Born and raised in New York City, he attended Columbia University partially on a swimming scholarship for his backstroke. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children and divide their time between Greenwood Village and Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where they are patrons of the local arts and music festival.
In a 2024 interview, he mentioned he got into Columbia University "more because of my backstroke versus my grades. "
