Szilveszter Makó is a Hungarian fashion photographer and art director based in Milan, renowned for his painterly, theatrical, and textured style. A graduate of MOME, he orchestrates entire visual tableaus for high-profile clients like Vogue, Hermés, and Balenciaga, and has photographed celebrities such as Cate Blanchett and Willem Dafoe.
He is passionate about tangible, handcrafted work, often using natural light and handmade sets with recycled materials. Influenced by his Eastern European upbringing, he travels to immerse himself in different cultures, recently spending over a month in Chinas Yunnan province studying folklore and collecting antiques.
Szilveszter has shared that he is on the autism spectrum, viewing it as his "internal architecture" which defines how he sees the world and creates his art.
