Ted Cavan

Ted Cavan is a Managing Director at Runway Growth Capitals Boston office, specializing in technology investments. With over a decade of experience in venture debt, he focuses on providing growth loans to late-stage enterprise software companies. He earned his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business after completing his BA at Skidmore College.

Beyond his finance career, Ted was a member of the mens varsity lacrosse team during his time at Skidmore College. His early academic work also involved research into the environmental and recreational health of Saratoga Lake, indicating a long-standing interest in environmental topics.

Before entering the venture debt world, Ted gained operational experience in the biotechnology and microbrewing industries.
