Ted O'Connell, MD, FAAFP

Ted OConnell is the National Medical Director for Kaiser Permanente Medical Education, where he leads physician training initiatives. An alumnus of UCLA Medical School and Harvard Business Schools executive program, colleagues describe him as a bold and fearless medical innovator. His work focuses on addressing the physician workforce crisis.

Outside of his executive role, Ted is a prolific, best-selling author and editor of numerous highly-regarded medical textbooks, including the "USMLE Secrets" and "Crush" series for medical students. He is passionate about mentorship and guiding the next generation of physicians through their application processes and training.

He co-developed a DIY Oxygen Concentrator project capable of producing high-flow, high-concentration oxygen to address equipment shortages.
