Terry Maness

Terry Maness is Dean Emeritus of Baylor Universitys Hankamer School of Business, where he also holds the Carr P. Collins Chair in Finance. With a career at Baylor spanning more than four decades, he led the business school through a period of significant growth and innovation. He earned his doctorate from Indiana University.

Outside of academia, Maness is an avid golfer. He and his wife, Nancy, share deep roots in the Baylor community, a connection extended to their two sons who are also Baylor graduates. This multi-generational tie highlights a strong family commitment to the university and its values.

Upon his retirement from the deanship, the Terry S. Maness Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in his honor.
