Thomas Bylsma

Thomas Bylsma is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Hope College, where he has worked since 1999. A Certified Public Accountant, he holds a B. A. in accounting from Calvin University and previously worked for the public accounting firm Plante Moran.

Outside of his professional role, Thomas is an active member of his community and church, where he serves as an elder. He and his wife, Muri, have four children, highlighting his focus on family and faith alongside his career.

He has dedicated over two decades of his career to advancing the financial health and mission of Hope College.
