Dr. Tom Phenix is the President of Luther College at the University of Regina, bringing extensive leadership experience from his previous role as Dean of Campion College. He holds a Ph. D. in cognitive psychology from the University of Saskatchewan and his research focuses on mathematical cognition and memory retrieval.
Outside of academia, Tom is an avid reader with broad interests including cosmology, paleontology, and history. He enjoys traveling, visiting museums, and drinking coffee. Growing up in a military family, he lived in Germany for several years during his childhood and moved frequently.
Unique fact: Tom was the first person in his family to graduate from high school and attend university.
