Yoshifumi Nagaura

With over 30 years of global experience, Yoshifumi Nagaura is the Chief Executive Officer at Opal. His expertise spans international marketing, supply chain management, and raw material procurement, drawing from a long career including a General Manager role at Nippon Paper Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Central Washington University.

Originally from Japan, he first came to the US as a high school exchange student and developed a love for the Pacific Northwest. In college, he was named intramural athlete of the year, participating in basketball, tennis, volleyball, and bowling, showcasing a strong passion for sports and an active lifestyle.

He was the first international student to be appointed as a Resident Assistant at Peninsula College.
