Craig Vaream is a seasoned payments and transaction banking executive, currently leading the Americas Division at SMBC Group. His extensive career includes running North American Treasury Services for JPMorgan Chase and serving as a Senior Advisor at McKinsey. He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an inactive CPA license.
Craig is deeply committed to philanthropy, serving on the boards of non-profits focused on Type 1 Diabetes (JDRF) and mental health (Access Psychology Foundation). He channels his passion for these causes into personal challenges, including endurance sports, to raise awareness and support for others facing similar health journeys.
To commemorate his 25th year with Type 1 Diabetes, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and ran the New York City Marathon in the same year, a journey he chronicled in his book, "No Limits. "
