An electrical engineer from Case Western Reserve University, he previously spent over a decade at SpaceX, where he led avionics for the Grasshopper reusable rocket prototype.
Outside of his mission to revolutionize energy, Doug is a married father of four. He enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in debates about history, economics, or music, and has declared himself the "rule-master at game nights. "
His idea for Radiant originated while at SpaceX, where he was tasked with figuring out how to power a future colony on Mars.
