Elisabeth Lackinger-Csarmann is a Technology Manager at Kemira, specializing in process and functional chemicals for the pulp and paper industry. With a PhD in technical chemistry, her work since 2007 has focused on developing innovative, biobased alternatives to fossil-based materials, particularly for paper sizing.
Outside of her scientific pursuits, Elisabeth is an equestrian who enjoys teaching her horse new tricks. She also finds relaxation in terrace gardening and is motivated by watching her two young children explore their own creativity and imagination.
Unique fact: Elisabeth is a listed inventor on a U. S. patent for a method of manufacturing paper and board using sustainable, biobased chemicals.
