As the Executive Director of the Northern Ontario Hockey Association, Jason Marchand is a key figure in regional hockey administration and development. A 2006 graduate of Laurentian University’s Sports Administration program, his career began with roles at the Canadian Junior Golf Association and internships with OHL and AHL teams before advancing within the NOHA.
Jason has a deep passion for all sports, extending beyond his professional focus on hockey. He has played competitive amateur baseball, winning a local championship in North Bay, and co-hosts "The NOHA Show," a podcast dedicated to discussing the challenges and opportunities in minor hockey.
He is a dedicated fan of the NHLs Washington Capitals and traveled to Washington to watch the team play during their 2018 Stanley Cup run.
