Kent Lin is the Co-Founder of Optimum, a company building a high-performance memory layer to scale blockchains. A Harvard MBA graduate and former Partner at crypto VC firm GSRV, he has deep expertise in venture capital, crypto research, and startup scaling. He previously founded the McKinsey Crypto DAO.
Originally an aerospace engineer, Kent is fluent in Chinese, English, and Minnan, with a working knowledge of German. He is passionate about building communities in the Web3 space, previously serving as the President of Harvard Blockchain, where he organized major conferences and launched the Harvard Blockchain Council.
He co-founded Optimum with MIT Professor Muriel Médard, the inventor of the companys core technology and a member of the U. S. National Academy of Engineering.
