Kristy Nabhan-Warren is the Associate Vice President of Research at the University of Iowa, where she also holds the V. O. and Elizabeth Kahl Figge Chair of Catholic Studies. She champions research in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, and earned her Ph. D. from Indiana University Bloomington.
Outside of her academic leadership, Kristy identifies as a mother and wife. She finds joy in her family life with her three children, hosting her book club, and appreciating nature, such as spotting crocuses and cardinals during the changing seasons.
She was awarded a quarter of a million dollars by the Office of the Provost for her “Writing for the Public Good” initiative.
