Laura Jørgensen is a senior figure in the Diocese of London, serving as Rector of St Botolphs, Area Dean for the City of London, and Dean of Womens Ministry. She has a background in science, holding a BSc from Imperial College London before pursuing theology and her ordination.
As a parent and community advocate, she is passionate about social welfare and urban development. She actively supports causes like The Hygiene Bank and has publicly championed the creation of safe, family-friendly public spaces and amenities within the City of London.
In 2019, she received the Freedom of the City of London to commemorate the centenary of the Representation of the People Act, which granted some women the right to vote.
