Dr. Paul Sorajja is a nationally recognized interventional cardiologist at Banner Health, where he serves as the Lentsch Family Endowed Chair for Valvular Heart Disease. A Mayo Clinic-trained physician, he is a pioneer in minimally invasive, catheter-based valve therapies and previously directed the Center for Valve and Structural Heart Disease at the Minneapolis Heart Institute.
During his undergraduate studies at Southwestern University, Dr. Sorajja was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is passionate about building world-class medical programs and actively celebrates and welcomes new talent to his team at Banner Health, reflecting a commitment to mentorship.
He has performed multiple first-in-human and first-in-US procedures, including the first implantation of the Amend ring in the United States for mitral valve repair in 2026.
