Peter Chapman is an accomplished journalist, editor, and author at the Financial Times with a masters in economics from the London School of Economics. A former foreign correspondent for the BBC and The Guardian in Latin America, he has authored books on major financial and corporate histories.
Outside of his journalism, Peter is a lifelong football enthusiast. Having played as a goalkeeper for Leyton Orient juniors in his youth, he continues to play five-a-side football. He grew up in North London and currently resides in South London with his family.
He has written extensively researched books on the controversial history of the United Fruit Company and the collapse of Lehman Brothers.
