An alumnus of the Royal College of Art, he previously led a major design transformation at Tata Motors. He was also a finalist for the 2021 World Car Person of the Year.
Outside of his corporate role, Pratap is a vocal advocate for high-quality design education and the importance of mentorship. He credits a scholarship and a key mentor for his own success and is passionate about providing similar opportunities for new talent in the automotive design field.
He believes the design process is universal, applying the same core philosophy whether designing an SUV, a tractor, or an electric three-wheeler.
