Rohit Pawar is the CEO of Baramati Agro Ltd and a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Karjat-Jamkhed constituency in Maharashtra. A graduate of the University of Mumbai, he previously served as the youngest President of the Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA), showcasing his influence in both business and politics.
He is the grandnephew of veteran politician Sharad Pawar and has taken an active role in sports administration as the President of the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA). He is focused on grassroots talent identification, infrastructure development, and launched the Maharashtra Premier League, a franchise-based T20 tournament.
He is the first member of the politically influential Pawar family to win an election from outside their traditional stronghold of Baramati.
