Ryan Enge

Ryan Enge is the Director of Research Computing Services at the University of Victoria, where he has progressed through management roles. A graduate of UVics Bachelor of Engineering program, he leads teams that provide advanced computing and data services, focusing on cloud platforms and national research infrastructure.

He is deeply involved in the Canadian digital research community, serving as a co-chair for the Alliance Cloud Team and participating in national strategy panels. He has a professional interest in enterprise open-source solutions like Red Hat and trends in higher education.

For over 15 years, his group has been integral to an international collaboration supporting Canadian astronomers, showcasing his commitment to long-term, high-impact research partnerships.
