Shayla Point is the Deputy CEO & Director of Indigenous Engagement, Laws, and Relations at the First Nations Financial Management Board. A member of the Musqueam Nation, she focuses on advancing financial governance and economic self-determination for First Nations. She holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University and a Law degree from UBC.
Shayla is a proud member of the Musqueam Nation and is deeply connected to her community and heritage. She has expressed gratitude for the support from her community and family throughout her educational journey and is passionate about advancing Indigenous-led initiatives across Canada.
She served as an Executive Producer for the documentary "Vision Quest, " which aired on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN).
