Sinead Teevan is a Policy Consultant at the OECD, focusing on regional and rural development. She is an Anishnaabe woman from Curve Lake First Nation and is completing an MPA-MGA dual degree from the London School of Economics and the University of Toronto. Her experience includes facilitating consultations between energy proponents and Indigenous communities.
Passionate about community-centered initiatives, Sinead has been an active member of the Indigenous Student Association at Western University. Her work centers on empowering Indigenous communities to participate in the green energy transition and ensuring equitable partnerships in natural resource projects. She has a deep interest in sustainable development and Indigenous rights.
She was a recipient of the Young Mining Professionals Scholarship, which supports Indigenous students with an interest in the mining sector.
