Vance Spencer is the Co-founder of Framework Ventures, a prominent venture capital firm focused on Decentralized Finance (DeFi). Before Framework, he co-founded and sold Hashletes, a digital collectibles startup licensed by the NFL, and previously worked at Netflix and Deloitte. He studied Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at the University of Southern California.
Vances journey into crypto was sparked by a personal fascination with Ethereum in 2015. This interest evolved into a high-conviction investment approach, leading him to go all-in on decentralized finance, a move that established his firm as a pioneer in the then-nascent ecosystem.
While at Netflix, he was responsible for the relaunch of the Japan business as the only non-Japanese hire on the team, helping launch the companys first office in Asia.
