Dericus Harvey

Educated with a BSE from Mercer University and an MBA from Indiana University, he has managed multi-billion-dollar projects and now leads franchisee selection and field operations for Chick-fil-As fastest-growing Midwest region.
Outside of work, Dericus is deeply committed to community service. He is a founding member of the Black Philanthropy Circle at Indiana University and serves on the alumni board for Mercer Universitys College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He and his wife, Charletta, whom he met at Mercer, moved back to Georgia to be closer to family.
His career path is distinctive, having transitioned from an industrial engineer at Ford and General Motors to a treasury manager at Johnson & Johnson before joining Chick-fil-A.
