Katrina Manson is an award-winning Bloomberg reporter covering cyber, emerging tech, and national security. An Oxford University graduate, she was previously the U. S. foreign policy and defense correspondent for the Financial Times and spent over a decade reporting from Africa. She is the author of "Project Maven, " a book detailing the Pentagons use of AI.

Beyond her work in national security journalism, Katrina has a deep connection to West Africa, where she lived and worked for twelve years. This experience led her to co-author the first-ever travel guidebooks to Sierra Leone and Burkina Faso, demonstrating a personal passion for the regions culture and geography.
