Rachel Ehrlich Albanese is the Co-Chair of the U. S. Restructuring Practice at DLA Piper, specializing in complex Chapter 11 cases and corporate restructuring. She earned both her BA and JD from the University of Pennsylvania and serves on Law360s Bankruptcy Editorial Advisory Board.
Outside of her legal practice, she is deeply committed to pro bono work, which she considers a passion project, and serves on DLA Pipers Americas Pro Bono Committee. She also enjoys mentoring students, having spoken to the Women in Business and Finance group at Phillips Academy.
She won an award for her article, “Chapter11. com: New Life for the Failed Retailer, ” which explored how bankrupt retailers can continue operating online.
