Yifei Ming

Yifei Ming is a Research Scientist at Salesforce AI, focusing on trustworthy AI agents. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Ph. D. in Computer Science, his expertise lies in Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and AI safety, aiming to improve model robustness and reasoning.

Outside of his research, Yifei enjoys spending his free time outdoors. He has a passion for both traveling to new places and hiking, which allows him to explore different environments and landscapes away from the lab.

He co-developed FaithEval, a benchmark of nearly 5, 000 questions designed to test if LLMs provide answers that are faithful to the given context.
